Questions

What's the difference between spoken and translated languages?

Spoken languages are the ones your pastor can preach in: CaptionKit transcribes more than 70 of them. Translated languages are the ones your congregation reads in: over 200. Any spoken language can be translated into any translated language.

What does audio mean?

In over 120 languages, CaptionKit can also read the translation aloud, so people listen through their own headphones on the free mobile apps or in the browser.

How many languages can we offer at once?

Up to 40 translated languages and 20 audio languages in a single service. Each person chooses their own language on their own phone.

Our pastor switches languages mid-sermon. Will that work?

Choose the Multilingual input and CaptionKit detects the language as it's spoken, including switches mid-service. There's also a dedicated English & Spanish (Bilingual) input.

Don't see your language?

Get in touch. We add languages as our speech and translation providers support them, and we'd love to hear what your congregation needs.
