Questions
How accurate is the translation?
Very good with clear audio, though it's AI and not a certified interpreter. A clean feed from your soundboard makes the biggest difference. Keywords let you teach CaptionKit the names and places your church talks about.
How quickly do translations appear?
Live, as your pastor speaks. In-progress captions show words as they're recognized, and each sentence is translated as soon as it's complete.
Do people need to download an app?
No. They scan a QR code and read along in the browser, with no account. The free iOS and Android apps add adjustable text and audio that keeps playing with the screen locked.
What equipment do we need?
A computer that can hear your service, ideally a feed from your soundboard, and an internet connection. Captions run in any modern browser or the CaptionKit Mac app.
Can we show translations on our screens?
Yes. Every language has lower-third and full-screen display links you can add to ProPresenter, OBS, vMix, FreeShow, Worship Extreme or any app that shows a web page.
How much does it cost?
Plans are priced by caption hours and languages, and you can start with 4 free hours and no credit card. See the pricing page for your exact price.
