Pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every church gets 4 free hours of captions with up to 2 translations and 1 audio language. No credit card needed.
What counts as a caption hour?
The time a service is being captioned, counted by the second. Showing a standby screen doesn't use hours, and a service stops itself after 30 minutes without speech, so a forgotten stream won't use up your plan.
What happens if we run out of hours?
A service that's already running always finishes. Once your hours are used up, new services can't start until your plan renews or you add hours from the plan page. There are no surprise overage charges, and you'll see a warning when you have an hour left.
Do unused hours roll over?
No. Your hours reset at the start of each billing month, so choose the hours you typically use.
Can we change our plan at any time?
Yes. Adding hours or languages takes effect right away and you pay the difference for the current month. Reductions apply from your next renewal. Newly added audio languages are charged only for the caption hours left in your month.
How does audio translation pricing work?
Audio is priced per audio language for each caption hour on your plan ($3.50 in USD), and every audio language includes its text captions. Paying churches can try audio on 1 language for 4 hours before adding it.
Do people reading or listening need to pay?
No. Your congregation reads and listens for free from your caption link or the free iOS and Android apps, with no account.
We have more than one campus. How is that priced?
Each campus has its own account and plan, priced the same way, so each location chooses the hours and languages it needs. Within one campus, up to 5 rooms share the same hours.
What are the limits?
Plans go from 4 to 120 caption hours a month, with up to 40 text languages and 20 audio languages at the same time. Need more? Get in touch.
Which currencies, and is tax included?
Prices are shown in US dollars, Australian dollars, euros or pounds depending on where you are. USD prices exclude tax; AUD prices include GST, and EUR and GBP prices include VAT.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in contracts and no sales calls. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel any time.
